“I have been so frustrated over the last years about what is happening in our world. Frustrated over what “they” are doing, why don’t “they” concern themselves with what is happening to the Earth, why don’t “they” do something about this or that. I have learned so much from Ayla and the Apprenticeship program, but perhaps the most important is that I need to stop expecting “them” to do anything. It is so simple and such a cliche but it has to start with me. And it is not that I have to do something out there, but within my own sphere of influence. It is the small things that create big change: nourishing meals, honoring the Earth’s rhythms, honoring my blood… through this program, I have developed a strong belief that the way in which human kind treats the Earth is intimately related to how we behave toward each other, and more specifically, how we relate to and act toward women. Before I can expect other human beings to behave differently toward women or toward the Earth, I need to start with me. When I begin to honor my gifts, my body, my shadows and chaos, my sensuality and my intuition, I create a revolution that can change the world. This gift from Ayla is immense. And yet, this is only a small piece of what she has given. It celebrates the healing wisdom, stories, jokes, ceremonies, connection and love that thousands of generations of women have shared and understood. It is about learning to nourish yourself in body, mind and spirit, making time for yourself and getting to know yourself in all the different stages of your life.
She was talking about her book—she could have been talking about the Sacred Wheel Programme. The programme has been a profound experience in my life. I have a greater understanding of “why” and “where” and “how” in relation to myself and to the rest of the world. I am no longer interested in “playing the game” - what I call what is expected or understood to be expected. I am more aware of my needs and what makes my heart sing and how to bring that into my life. I am more able to recognize the need for support and access said support, than before. I am realizing that I can be a person in my own right as well as a mother and wife. It was great to feel the thrill of discovery and awakening of wisdom that the course facilitated. The course has allowed me access to a whole new realm of reality.
The teaching style is impressive. Ayla gives her heart and soul. She is incredibly insightful as a guide, knowledgeable as a person, gifted as a facilitator, gracious as a host and great fun.
The class materials are wide and varied using all media and modalities. The wealth of materials is incredible - plentiful resources to facilitate many projects. The emphasis on creativity and varied pathways to access personal expression or learning style is remarkable.
The breath of the syllabus is imposing. Class materials and handouts are always inspiring and challenging and the knowledge provided is clear and succinct. Class handouts and binder serve to create a programme that one can follow year after year - spiraling to greater personal growth.
Consultation time allowed me space to further delve into thoughts or themes. A real luxury time for me. The one on one time with Ayla was hugely helpful and nourishing.
It was a journey of discovery of myself and the world around me. A huge gift.
Everything from my tampons to my toothpaste has been challenged. Some attitudes, beliefs, certainties, habits of mine of old have been altered, embraced or created anew.
New thoughts, rituals and approaches have become part of everyday life. I can feel tangible growth. I have asked myself questions that I never thought before - what do I believe, why do I believe that. My “taken for granted” assumptions and values certainly were challenged.
The seed is planted, the resources available, the support ready - the journey awaits to take you where you will go”.

“My new mantra for life is now, "There are no answers, only choices." I am so grateful to have made the choice to participate in this years' Apprenticeship Class with Chrysalis Woman.
The Apprenticeship Class is, like all of life, what you make of it. Ayla is a wise woman who guides us through, introducing us to many aspects of the sacred feminine. She provides us with many opportunities and options for personal growth, including, but not limited to: journal questions; lunar charts; monthly rituals; altar guidance; weekly and monthly numerology; books to read about women's health, herstory, and awareness; seasonal cooking; herbs; and, most importantly, a loving sense that we are one, Mother Earth, Gaia.
If you are feeling a visceral pull or longing for something more. If you desire to have a safe environment to pursue and acknowledge this. If you are on a spiritual quest.... know that you are in the right place as there are no coincidences in life. You are reading this, therefore, I believe, you are already there.

Circles & Programs
Monthly Goddess Circles
Come and experience our monthly gatherings with sisters of all paths who wish to reconnect with the Sacred Feminine within & without. We meet each month on a Saturday nearest the full moon to honor a Goddess from a specific culture and experience healing, seasonal rituals that can include drumming, singing, art, dancing, meditation and self exploration. No experience with the Sacred Feminine or Circling necessary.

Initiate Program
This program has been created for Women who have previously attended our monthly Goddess Circles. They are invited to deepen their experience of Circles, the Sacred Feminine and Sisterhood by participating in this nine month long Initiate Program. They are now ready to experience hands on Circle work as well as lend their energy and love in the spirit of service to our Circle of Sisterhood Community.
Meeting twice a month (one evening for class, the other for our monthly Goddess Circle), women experience the art of Smudging & Anointing, Circle Casting & Dissolution, Invocation/Revocation of Directional Elements and Energy work. They learn the wisdom of the Wheel of the Year, follow Lunar rhythms, experience
multi-cultural Goddess studies, Sisterhood & much more! This program begins in February and runs through October.

Priestess Program
This program was created for women, who after graduating from the CW Initiate Program, wanted a way to continue working intimately within the monthly Circles. These women are invited to begin the path of Priestess and assist Ayla in the creation and facilitation of the CW monthly rituals. They are now ready to experience hands on Ritual creation and active facilitation of parts of CW rituals.
Meeting twice a month (one evening for ritual creation, the other for our monthly Goddess Circle), women participate in multi-cultural Goddess studies, ritual creation and facilitation, the CW Sister program, sisterhood and much more! This program begins in February and runs through October.

The Chrysalis Woman Program
This program is an intensive year long journey through the labyrinth of Women’s Wisdom. A remembering at this time of coming Earth Changes how vital the remembering of the Sacred Feminine and the healing of our woman selves is to the healing of our families, communities and our blessed Mother Earth.
We meet one Saturday a month closest to the New Moon.
Study Includes
Witnessing, celebrating and actively working with the spiraling journey through the seasonal cycles of our blessed Earth’s Wheel of the Year
Dancing with the directions and their elements, learning their correspondences and experiencing their energies
Learning the patriarchal/cultural inheritance of our blood mysteries, (Womb & Breast, Pregnancy & Birth, Menstruation & Menopause) how this inheritance has affected women and culture and how to heal and realign ourselves to the wisdom and inherent transformation available through these sacred cycles as known in the Wise Woman Way
Awakening to our connection to our beloved Grandmother Moon, learning your birth lunar phase and how that translates into your life path’s mission
Reconnecting to the Medicine Woman that lives within and her ancestral methods of seasonal and nourishing herbal, food and ferment medicines
Learning to create the next wave Feminism, developing true Sisterhood, and re-establishing your connection with the Sacred Feminine… And much more!
This program begins in February and runs through October.
